I used to read all of Deaver's books as they came out - I still think that A Maiden's Grave and The Coffin Dancer are both clever and involving works, even if Deaver kind of lost his mojo with time. God help me, I still read Lee Child's books as they come out, and they're honestly terrible. But even so, I gotta say, Kernick's not as good as the good examples of the kind of bad fiction.Maxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17834828133621206325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7215735111378708728.post-58997374765733757692011-05-27T17:35:07.769+00:002011-05-27T17:35:07.769+00:00I stumbled upon Simon Kernick's name while loo...I stumbled upon Simon Kernick's name while looking into authors similar to Jeffery Deaver, Karin slaughter, Grisham, Koomtz and King, all of whose books I have read. after doing sme reseatch, I started with his 5th book, Relentless. It was written in a diffeeent way than I am accustomed, but it was interesting. I read all his books in order from Relentless to his newest one, Payback. Each book was even more fast paced and betternthan the previous one. His characters are excellent and I just finished reading his very first book, wondering what it woild be like. It lacked nothing in comparison to the later books. Great writer.Piianistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11447272402215370206noreply@blogger.com
